Milos Kleint updated MEVENIDE-634:
----------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: NB_3.1

oh, oh.

sounds really bad. I guess a workaround would be to make the host trusted.

I might have bad ways of reproducing the issue. Can you provide some detailed steps (like what protocol is the repository in question etc)

also is the text really appearing in /var/log system.log or is it rather the netbeans' messages log?

> NetBeans (the Maven project) locks with newly opened project which has dependencies on yet-untrusted host.
> Due to a fresh install a host doesn't have the keys added permanently. By opening the Maven project from NetBeans the IDE starts taking about 40% of the CPU with syslogd taking 100% of the CPU.
> /var/log/system.log grows instantly to ~ 300MB, all containing the same lines:
> May 15 10:43:39 xx [0x0-0x13013].NetBeans 6.1[158]: Are you sure you want to continue connecting? (yes/no): The authenticity of host 'hostname' can't be established.
> May 15 10:43:39 xx [0x0-0x13013].NetBeans 6.1[158]: DSA key fingerprint is 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8:9.

> (I faked the real hostname / key fingerprint as it's irrelevant).
> I never see any GUI asking me to trust the host keys so basically I can't even open NetBeans now.
