It is what I was afraid it would be, it is linked with  : http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-1590

Some 1.1 alphas and betas have worked (I do not remember which). The final 1.1 has this bug . 

The better solution is to wait the 1.2. Another solution is to take the source fixed in rev 608626 and recompile. But it is quite complicated ;) !

I am sorry, I can not do better, there is no work around for this bug.
