the most  likely cause of the issue is that in the last week we've
released a new version of maven support (3.1.1) and that one is using
a newer maven embedder (current 2.1-SNAPSHOT as opposed to a 2 years
old one shipping with 3.0.12.

So I assume it was working for you with the old version but after
upgrade it's not working anymore.
Can you provide me with steps to reproduce the issue? is the hello
world plugin created by an archetype?
