In maven 2.0.9 you can define a assembly with resource filtering by
adding a <filtered>true</filtered> in the fileSet you want filtered.
This would then use the properties you defined in your pom.xml file
(Using maven-assembly-plugin 2.2-beta-2). The same project assembly in
mevenide 3.1.1 (or maven 2.1-SNAPSHOT, not sure which of them) does not
honour the properties set in your pom.xml file.
Im not sure if it is a bug, or if it is a feature not included in
2.1/3.1.1 (on the maven-assembly-plugin site it says its from v2.2 (of
the assembly plugin), so im guessing it is a bug).
Could anyone with a bit more knowledge about this please verify it?
Where does the problem lie, in Maven or Mevenide? I have not been able
to test it using the 2.1-SNAPSHOT version of Maven myself. Any help
would be appreciated, because this is a feature we are using actively on
a day to day basis.
Cheers,
Magne
