Re: Please post comments about concepts for new Maven logo in site issue

Hallo everyone,
last week we got concepts for a new logo by the designers (see [1]) and 
I asked you to have a look, so we get a feeling about if we like them.

Concepts 1+2 got the same amount of "I like concept X" comments, with 
the majority saying "1 more than 2". Concept 3 and 4 got almost no 
likes, so I argue the "leaf on top of the V" design is out.
A high number of people also suggested to think about another design, 
where the leaf does not interfere with the "Maven" text at all ("Concept 
5"), but is for example placed on the side.
I will get this feedback back to Marketing and ask if they might come up 
with a design idea for this. @Hendrik Ebbers We are not bound to take a 
logo by the designers marketing has contacted. So every community member 
can add suggestions to the topic. So if you want to add an idea, feel free.

I will update the issue when I get more from marketing, but it might be 
delayed as I'm off some time in March due private things and going to a 
conference.
