TurbineUploadService compatibility issues

Hello,

We have been using Turbine-2.3.2 with Tomcat 6 till now. 
But I am working to move to Tomcat 7. 
Our upload functionality utilizes TurbineUploadService.parseRequest 
is broken. 
When uploading a file, it just displays a message 'Connecting to 
server'. 
I tried debugging, but could not find any exception. 
This functionality works fine with Tomcat 6 and Turbine-2.3.2. 

Do I need to switch to Turbine-2.3.3 or later? 
Do I need to make any other changes to make it work in this configuration? 
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
