I'm not a member of the JCP anymore. I refused to agree to the
inclusion of XML Schema into the Servlet API. I refused because Sun's
only substantive reason was a marketing one.

I was forced to leave the JCP.

Some members of the Apache group felt similarly, I believe. But they
did not leave. So you could try talking to them about this.
