Reading servlet specs I noticed this reminder: <quote src="servlet spec v.2.4-Section SRV.S.17"> It is now a recommendation, that the dispatch should occur in the same thread of the same JVM as the original request - based on the requirement from JSR- 168(8.2) </quote> Is anybody aware of a container, 2.2 and above api level, that doesn't follow this recommendation ? The word -thread- doesn't appear between pages 49-77 of the aforementioned spec.
