Signs of life

You may have noticed some commits for the first time in a long time.   
I've been knee deep in log4j, log4cxx, and log4php and my toes wet in  
log4net.  Hate to say it, but the activity on cpptasks is mainly to  
get everything ready for the first ASF release of log4cxx.

I've got a usable Maven build and a self-contained documentation  
system (no more relying on unmaintained and fragile proposal code  
from the Ant codebase) for cpptasks that looks pretty good.   
Hopefully, it is just as simple as installing Maven and running "mvn  
package" or "mvn site".  "mvn assembly:assembly" or "mvn release"  
will take some more effort.  My plan is to work to improve the  
generated IDE projects (perhaps adding an Eclipse CDT and/or  
Netbeans) to support the log4cxx release.  I'll then scan and attack  
any low-risk issues and cut a cpptasks release (maybe calling it 1.0  
and then moving on to a 1.1 for more substantial changes).  If there  
are any bugs that I should take special notice of, let me know.

I had no success getting the antlib loading approach to work with ant  
1.6.5 (didn't try other versions) and I didn't test to see if it was  
an regression.  If anyone has had success with it and could email a  
working antlib equivalent of src/samples/hello/build.xml and details  
on what Ant and cpptasks version you were using, I would appreciate it.

The ivy stuff seemed to be giving Gump fits.  I took one shot at  
suppressing Ivy on Gump, but apparently didn't eliminate the  
dependency.  I'd expect that I'd take a shot at Maven-ifying ant- 
contrib (they both will still be buildable with Ant) and maybe also  
bring over the taskdocs stuff.  However, ant-contrib isn't my  
priority at the moment.
