A new beta release?

I just noticed it's been over a year since the last official beta
release (1.0-beta4) for cpptasks, which seems like a long time to go
between releases.  Are there any plans for 1.0-beta5 release?  Are
there any specific bug fixes or enhancements that we want to get in
place before we issue another beta?

I wasn't involved with this project the last time a beta was issued,
what's the process that's normally followed for preparing a beta
release?
