Initial Comment:
On windows/msvc8, using the "location" attribute of the compilerarg element will actually completely omit the argument altogether.  Using "start", "end", or "mid" doesn't make a difference.  Any value will cause the omission.

It looks like the arguments are being included in the actual command
invocation, however they weren't being recorded properly in the history.xml
file that is generated.

Fixed in svn revision 146.
