How to run the configure tests? (new compiler version)

Hello,

using cpptasks-1.0b5 with Visual Studio 2008 (VC9). I get the following 
warning:

[cc] Unknown compiler version - please run the configure tests and 
report the results

and found nothing about it. How do I run these tests? Where is the 
doc?
