Thanks, that does indeed help. It helped fix the problem, but it also helped
convince me not to use Ant to build my C++ projects any more. Having to apply
a patch from half a decade ago to make my build times even slightly realistic
is frankly ridiculous. It's back to platform-specific build scripts for me.
