Very strange.  I did a search for that error message and got a hit but  
it was related to ColdFusion and .NET which seems to have no  
relationship to this problem.

Could you try to run that in an administrator command prompt (right  
click on command prompt and select run as admin) and see if it might  
be a privilege related issue?

Instead of editing the build.xml file, you could have also specified  
the property using:

ant -Dcpp.compiler=g++

I'm away from my Vista box at the moment and can't experiment.
