As far as I know the free version on Anthill (OS) does not give you this
very simple yet intuitive option. So every time you do a build, a fresh
working copy is checked out.

As for Starteam, once you set up Tomcat and Anthill, you need to go into
each property sheet for each project (if you use mixed version control
system) or from the master property sheet in Anthill and tell it which
repository adapter to use.

Download the .pdf manual, it's written very well and simple to understand
and it also shows you how to diable deleting each working folder and
replacing it with a fresh new one but there's a caveat...

Hi,

I'm a new user to anthill and I've got a few questions on how to use
it properly.
I've got it setup with CVS and StarTeam (which isn't working, but
that's the other question), and when I go to build, it deletes all the
local files in the working directory and does a clean build.
I'd like only to actually have it do an update rather than a complete
clean checkout when I do my builds, as we're really only changing one
or two directories within the code. Is there a way to have the Build
Manager refrain from cleaning up the working directory and just do an
update?
Also, my StarTeam doesn't seem to be quite working. I'm getting an
error message of:
"'stcmd' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."

Can someone give me a hand?

Thanks!
Chris
