Mahesh,

I'm not sure what's going wrong here, perhaps it would be easier to 
switch to using the 
com.urbancode.anthill.adapter.ProjectPropertyFileVersionAdapter . That 
stores the version number in Anthill and would avoid these steps.

Would that work for you?
