In my particular case, I'm injecting into a set of classes that I don't
"own". I didn't compile them.

The analogy I was thinking of wasn't javac but java. IOW Java doesn't
care if my classes contain references to other classes that aren't on
the classpath. By the same analogy AspectWerkz shouldn't either.
