Checkstyle Runtime Exception

I searched through the forum and was never able to find a fix for this
problem.

I get the following violation from Checkstyle(v4.4):

"Got an exception - java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to get class
information for ServletException." on line 0.

The class that gets this violation throws the
javax.servlet.ServletException, I have this exception class as one of my
imports, but Checkstyle style throws the violation every time.

What needs to change so that Checkstyle will be able to find the class
information?  Or what can I change in my configuration file so that
Checkstyle will ignore this violation.
