Hi, according to the Checkstyle web site info for their Ant task: "You can use the severity property to control the output of the *plain* formatter for the command line tool and the ANT task." However, "The XML formatter reports the severity level of every violation as an attribute of the violation's error element. " So, I guess the kind of filter you are asking for Ant is not available yet.
