Getting Null pointer exception after configuring the checks in eclipse

I tried to configuring the checks as per my project requirement, by
following the eclipse(v 3.3.2) checkstyle(v 5.3.2) configuration
procedure given in the
http://eclipse-cs.sourceforge.net/basic_creating_config.html

After configuring the checks, as it required workspace has been build.

Here is the problem:
When i tried to run the checkstyle check it is throwing Null pointer
exception and unable to proceed further.

Pl, do the needful in resolving this issue.
