maven2 plugin for checkstyle - want checkstyle 4.4

I understand from maven project folks that in order to have maven2 checkstyle plugin be to up to date with Checkstyle 4.4, that the checkstyle project folks need to provide the upload bundle for the maven central repository. Is that something that can be put in the queue asap?
