Strange.  I was able to reproduce the problem under OSX, but I don't know why
it's happening.

When I run bsh in the server mode on my Solaris box I can load the remote
applet on my Mac with no problem.  When I run the server under OSX, I get
truncated class file errors when loading the applet on the Mac.

But if I simply save the class file loaded through the server running under OSX
it looks ok...  I don't know why the Java plug-in under OSX is erroring.

If anyone has time to look into this I'd appreciate it.

BTW, I just have to say that I *LOVE* my G4 17" PowerBook and OSX.   
This is the first computer I've really been excited about since I was a kid.
(This is my first Mac).

I did all of the BeanShell 2.0 development on it. 
I'm so glad Apple switched to Unix ;)
