Thanks for the guide peter.As you mentioned I have to pay more attention to
the project plan.

I have started working on the coding exercise that you have posed in
http://biojava.org/wiki/Short_coding_exercise.Is there a deadline to this or
Do we have to submit it together with the proposal?

I have some concerns regarding the BioJava 1.8 and BioJava 3 so I am
planning to start a new thread in the mailing list.Hope you will help me
there too.
