R B updated CC-1018:
--------------------
Description:
Hi,
I am trying to force a build using CC 2.8.4 running on Linux Ubuntu. I checkout the files from svn. All seem to work except the following 2 issues and I really need your help:
- Forcing a build (CANNOT DO A BUILD, THIS IS A BLOCKER)
* I have set up my project as: <project name="newfolder" forceOnly="true" requiremodification="false"> and have deleted the <modificationset....> hoping that by pressing the "Build" button on the GUI on the right of the project name would force the build. This did not work. The messages I get on the command prompt indicate there was no forced build initiated.
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 Project - Project newfolder: in build queue
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 jectController- newfolder Controller: build progress event: in build queue
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 BuildQueue - now adding to the thread queue: newfolder
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 Project - Project newfolder: not building because project is forceOnly and build not forced.
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 Project - Project newfolder: next build in 30 seconds
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 Project - Project newfolder: waiting for next time to build
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:23 jectController- newfolder Controller: build progress event: waiting for next time to build
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 Project - Project newfolder: in build queue
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 jectController- newfolder Controller: build progress event: in build queue
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 BuildQueue - now adding to the thread queue: newfolder
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 Project - Project newfolder: not building because project is forceOnly and build not forced.
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 Project - Project newfolder: next build in 30 seconds
[cc]Nov-19 12:20:53 Project - Project newfolder: waiting for next time to build
Second issue: EmailPublisher:
- If I make a change to the svn folder and set the modificationset to do a scheduled build, the build takes place. An error in the email shows "[email protected]" is not a valid email.
The username "User" is defined nowhere and is not a User that touched the files in the repository. This username "User" does not exist anywhere.
Could you please help me with the above 2 issues please.
Thanks,
Roger
