getting with building cruisecontrol and making a change

Hello,

I'm getting started with building cruisecontrol from source to working on adding a feature.

I'm a little green on building java code. I've checked out the trunk ( https://cruisecontrol.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/cruisecontrol/trunk/cruisecontrol )
and ran build.bat. I'm doing this on Windows 7.

Unittest failures came out from PipedExecBuilderTest and target and dist folders were created. target has many .class files in it. dist has one file in it being cruisecontrol-antprogresslogger.jar.

I'd like to be able to run cruisecontrol with a config, test my feature, make a source change, build, run and test again.

How do I know if the build succeeded ( disregarding unittests ) and what do I run to get cruisecontrol to fire up?
