Subject: [Cruisecontrol-user] Changing LogDir

Hi,

I am running CruiseControl as a Windows Service.

Our build machine is a VM with limited disk space. A while back, I changed the artifacts folder to a network resource to conserve space on the VM. That has worked well.

Now we are running into disk space limitations again. I found that we had over 1 GB of logs in our C:\Program Files\CruiseControl\logs . I would like to change my log directory to point somewhere else. I changed every reference to the logs folder in my config.xml, I added a "dir" param to my "log" element, I added a "logdir" and a "logDir" property in my config.xml. All with no luck. I get this error:

Configuration problem? No logs found in logDir: C:\Program Files\CruiseControl\logs\advantage
net.sourceforge.cruisecontrol.CruiseControlWebAppException: Configuration problem? No logs found in logDir: C:\Program Files\CruiseControl\logs\advantage
        at net.sourceforge.cruisecontrol.BuildInfo.loadFromDir(BuildInfo.java:154)
        at net.sourceforge.cruisecontrol.taglib.NavigationTag.findLogFiles(NavigationTag.java:91)
        at net.sourceforge.cruisecontrol.taglib.NavigationTag.doStartTag(NavigationTag.java:76)
        at org.apache.jsp.main_jsp._jspService(main_jsp.java:263)

So it is still trying to use the default location. How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Mark Christian
