Thanks for that Jeffrey. I have checked out the latest source from SVN  
but seem to be having a few problems with getting it built and run  
properly on my iMac here. It seems to say the build was successful,  
but there only appear to be a handful of jar files in the /lib folder,  
compared to the binary release. It doesn't look like the dashboard is  
present, for example.

I'll keep on trying, but I'm not in any great hurry - I am able to  
wait for a binary release of 2.8.3, whenever that may be. At least if  
I know my original issue is a bug that has already been fixed, that is  
perfectly fine for now and will save me any further head-scratching!
