I have checked out the latest source from SVN but seem to be having a few problems with getting it built and run properly on my iMac here. It seems to say the build was successful, but there only appear to be a handful of jar files in the /lib folder, compared to the binary release. It doesn't look like the dashboard is present, for example. I'll keep on trying, but I'm not in any great hurry - I am able to wait for a binary release of 2.8.3, whenever that may be. At least if I know my original issue is a bug that has already been fixed, that is perfectly fine for now and will save me any further head-scratching!
