Cruisecontrol build and mail queries

Folks,
I have a couple of questions :
1) Am using cc with java1.5 and I have configured a project to automate the
build process. My project is using 1.4.2 and maven. So when I try to build
the project, it builds using java 1.5. Is there someway I can override this
?
As a workaround, I have created a script that sets the path and calls "mvn
clean install" and am using it within the <exec>.
But thats not what I want. I want to use the <maven2> builder of cc. I have
also tried a few stupid things like setting the project properties.
<property name="env.PATH" value="${PATH}"/>
<property name="JAVA_HOME" value="/mypath/j2sdk1.4.2_18/"/>
2) I have set up a schedule time for my project to perform a nightly
checkout and build. Now I need to see a mail after each build which lists
the users who have checked in code after the prev nightly build and the
files they have checked in.
Is there any way to accomplish this?
