Opening zipped log file from buildresult page

Hi all,

Is there a way to configure the build result's [XML Log File] tab so 
that it can open log files that have been zipped up?  I'm still using 
version 2.7.1.

I currently have the following settings for the logs:
    <log>
      <gzip every="1" unit="MONTH"/>
      <delete every="6" unit="MONTH" ignoreSuffix="true"/>
    </log>

So the files are zipped after 1 month, and deleted after 6.

However, if you try to view one of the zipped logs, the build result 
page correctly extract the data (the _cache directory have the correct 
.html files, although these have the .xml extension, so it appears that 
something was done.)
> log20090415131846Lbuild.149-header.html
> log20090415131846Lbuild.149-buildresults.html
> log20090115200353Lbuild.64.xml-header.html
> log20090115200353Lbuild.64.xml-buildresults.html

But when I try to open the XML for it, I get:
XML Parsing Error: unclosed token
Location: http://<server>/cruisecontrol/logs/test/log20090115200353Lbuild.64
Line Number 22, Column 5:
    <property
----^

If I go and manually unzip the file, then it all works fine.
