> I can log onto the box and from the prompt send mail > to [email protected] no error. - via mutt/pine or via mail ? - is the mail first going to localhost then to the remote or is the localhost server the one that rejects your mails ? - Have you tried sending email from the same machine as cruisecontrol is running so that the rejecting smtp server is the relay ? Shouldnt be so hard to do via telnet - just google for "send email via telnet". - Does the cruisecontrol machine have only single ethernet ? - Does the smtp server require authentication via credentials or perhaps pop or imap before smtp ? - Is there white/blacklist of ip's in the smtp server ?
