Moving a cruise control setup to another machine

I just moved a complete cruise control configuration to another (linux)
machine. Actually it was on an NFS volume that is shared by multiple
machines so it really just entailed turning off cruise control on one
machine and starting it up on the other.

Everything initially appeared to work fine, but at the conclusion of the
build, cruise control and the web app blow up:

The build-results page displays "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap
space" and there is no header, build-results or navigation sections in
the web display. I can't find this error in any log file.
The notification emails don't go out either. So apparently the problem
isn't confined to within the webapp itself.

I'm wondering what portion of my whole configuration could be the source
of this problem? The serialization files (project-name.ser)? Something
else?

Thanks,

Frank Kurzawa
