Re: svn modifcation issues

Hi Ian,

Hung and Dan are correct, you need to run svn from a command prompt; I guess
that's what you mean by "OS level".  Do not use Tortoise, that bypassed the
test, use strait command line svn commands as described in step 3 below to
verify svn is on your path and can check-out a project within your CC
projects directory.  That was the point of the steps in the last email.

In Windows open a command prompt.  The wording in your email seemed to
indicate that you are unfamiliar with Windows Command Prompt.  Is this the
case?  

You may have to add svn to your Windows path...as in:

Control Panel->System->Environment Variables.

Whether svn can run in a Command Prompt is what we're trying to find out.
Once we get it running in a Command Prompt, then CC can also locate it.

Actually the machine I have available at work to do this is a windows 
box, so I'm running the wrapper. I've already pulled down the working 
copy into projects with no problem (using tortoise). If I run the ant 
script outside of CC it builds successfully. I think this is less likely 
to be an issue.

Hung Huynh and Dan Rollo both mentioned that I need svn to run on an OS 
level in order for this work (thanks for the tip guys). Not exactly sure 
how to do this in windows. Is it just a matter of setting an evironment 
variable for "svn" to point to the subversion binary?

I was just assuming that the CC svn plugin was self contained and didn't 
need this.
