Htmlemail-publisher and ignore-tag

I publish my buildresults using the htmlemail-publisher, but I don't want to
send email to certain users. I have tried to use the ignore-element under
htmlemail, but I can't make it work - it sends emails to these users anyway.

I use git. One of the users that I want to ignore has a .git/config-file that
starts like this:

[user]
        name = jobxx@lion

The output of 'git log -p --pretty=raw' may look like this:

commit 9bea3732941f22029f6751c8b6adbb197b3e1bc8
tree 536b5bf95f3e50fbd23bfbd963b987db8b577502

My CC-config.xml contains this section:

<publishers>
	<htmlemail ...>
    	 <failure address="[email protected]"/>
    	 <ignore user="jobxx@lion"/>
    	 <ignore user="jobxx@giraffe"/>
	</htmlemail>
</publishers>

Yet, when jobxx@lion pushes changes to git, CC sends an email to this user.
Why is this the case?

Email addresses are removed from the samples.
