what does the output of the Cruisecontrol xml log show.
Make sure the user information stored there is the same as what you're
getting back from git

        <ignore user="jobxx@lion"/>
        <ignore user="jobxx@giraffe"/>
       </htmlemail>
</publishers>

Yet, when jobxx@lion pushes changes to git, CC sends an email to this user.
Why is this the case?

Email addresses are removed from the samples.
