Re: Security on Tomcat/CC

Thanks for the information.  That will be extremely helpful.

But I must be an idiot ... after following the directions.
I got the web.xml as it should be ... the documenation neglected to 
specify that you need to add
<security-role><role name="cruiscontrol"/></security-role>
Otherwise you get an error.
I also had to work on the exact format of the web.xml file.

the tomcat-users file is configured, the server.xml is configured, and 
right now using plain text passwords.

Unfortunately, when I log on from another machine to test security
/cruisecontrol
/buildresults
/projectname

I did stop/restart tomcat server ... and the restart the cuiscontrol app 
for good measure.

None of it works, and I am never challenged ...

Any idea on what I could be doing wrong?
