RMI adresses and Firewall

Hello, We are using JMX to inform our IDE-plugin what status the CC has. JMX is using RMI. Our CC-Server has a firewall. RMI is opening new ports when comunicating. These new ports are blocked by the firewall. It is possible in Java to tell RMI a range of adresses, where to open the comunication. How can I give this parameter to CC, so that the firewall can release these ports for the RMI comunication?
