Hi EJ, My view is no, CC has not been left to die on the vine but no there will be no trickle down from Cruise to CC. CruiseControl has historically been developed through community contributions not as part of an official Thoughtworks effort. The only recent exception to this was the Dashboard which they developed when they were working on "CruiseControl Enterprise". But when they changed directions and developed Cruise that was left to the community. As for why CC doesn't feature things that other CI servers offer, there's a long story and short one. The short one is that is mostly a matter of what has been submitted to the project. As a project we're still actively taking contributions and are happy to get new additions to the project. Recently I haven't had a lot of time to work on the project — I do spend time every day moderating the mailing list — but I hope to have more time to spend in the near future.
