Dashboard Build Problem

I've recently set up dashboard to view the results of our CruiseControl 2.8.2
builds. However, when viewing a project in the dashboard, if you click on the
force build button, you receive an error "Error communicating with build loop
on: ". Similarly, if you try to view the status of a build in progress, you
receive an error message "Unable to connect to build loop". Does anyone know how
to fix this problem?
