Changing the resulturl layout

Hi all,

I know there were some questions like this in the past, but I fail to find an answer that helps me in my situation, so please be patient with me.

I am currently administrating a permanent build and integration environment with ~40 Servers and want to use the dashboard as a central administrating-  and overview platform.

That is working quite splendid, as soon as the host has enough power, but now I am encountering a problem with the Emails CruiseControl sends.

The Resulturl is defined as:
http://dashboard/tab/build/detail/${project.name}<http://dashboard/tab/build/detail/$%7bproject.name%7d>
and CruiseControl adds the information: "?log=log20090811104941Lbuild.719" resulting in a link like this:
http://dashboard/tab/build/detail/HEAD_perm_permwin04?log=log20090811104941Lbuild.719

The  correct link on the dashboard however would be:
http://dashboard/tab/build/detail/HEAD_perm_permwin04/20090811104941

So, every time one of the developers clicks the link in the mail, he end up on the main page of the project (http:// dashboard/tab/build/detail/HEAD_perm_permwin04), which is quite confusing.

For example he might receive a "build failed" mail, but during his lunch time or something like that. Afterwards he clicks the link and end up on a page that shows "build successful" because in the meantime the build was fixed.

I tried to find a way to change the link format, but all I found was a hint how to change the CruiseControl Code to adapt to the dashboard. That would be quite ugly for me, as I would have to update 40 servers with a tweaked version and updating to new CruiseControl releases would get quite painful.

I think there must be a real solution for this, as -if I am not missing something- everyone who tries to use the dashboard with an email publisher will have the same problem.

I have a sandbox in which I can try and error as much as I like, so any suggestion is very welcome, even if untested.
