Uncontrollable (epoch-seconds)log.xml files from CC threading

Hello,

I've noticed that when I have threading enabled via
configuration->system->threads->count="2"
that there are lots of logging type XML files being created in my CC root
dir. The names of the files appear to at least start with the Unix epoch
along along with "log.xml", e.g. 1250199671570log.xml. The link to these
files appearing and having threading enabled is just a personal
observation... once I enable it, they start to appear. I've found no way to
configure or disable this. As best I can tell, this is not hindering the
project builds themselves, but it does clutter up the CC root dir.
Separately, I'm having an issue with projects that I've completely deleted
reappearing a few minutes later in a "stopped" status, and finding that
those projects' cc_root/logs/{project} subdirs were recreated mysteriously.
I've been wondering if the threading might be causing that too.

Regarding those log.xml files, Is this something that cannot be controlled
when threading is enabled?
