Since there hasn't been a recent release of Cruisecontrol with the
AntBuildOutput fixes, I'm attempting to compile from source. I have ant
installed as well as JUnit. When I try to compile ant (by running "ant"
in the source directory) I get an error:
BUILD FAILED
/opt/cruisecontrol-src-trunk/cruisecontrol/build.xml:35: The following
error occurred while executing this line:
/opt/cruisecontrol-src-trunk/cruisecontrol/main/build.xml:325: The
following error occurred while executing this line:
/opt/cruisecontrol-src-trunk/cruisecontrol/main/loggers/build.xml:31:
Problem: failed to create task or type junit
Cause: the class org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.optional.junit.JUnitTask
was not found.
This looks like one of Ant's optional components.
Action: Check that the appropriate optional JAR exists in
-/usr/share/ant/lib
-/home/cruisecontrol/.ant/lib
-a directory added on the command line with the -lib argument
I have ant-junit.jar and junit.jar in /usr/share/ant/lib
and /home/cruisecontrol/.ant/lib. I've tried specifying the -lib
argument to both of these directories as well. The machine is Fedora
Core 8. Info on packages:
