My svn label e. g. has the format "svn.64196". There is no colon. But maybe the dot could be responsible ?

Chad <cjaros <at> amientertainment.com> writes:

In the documentation for svnlabelincrementer it states that the label format is as follows:
[prefix][separator][int](optional[separator][int])
or
svn.250 or
svn.250.2 for multiple builds of the same revision

In reality, the label can have multiple formats:
svn.250
svn.250M
svn.250S
svn.230:250
svn.230:250M
svn.230:250S

I believe that it is the colon that causes cruisecontrol to error out without throwing any real error messages. The labels that include colons seem to be the standard label format for building with a new revision.

I ended up working around the issue by using the standard label incrementer and querying the svn revision for the software version string from nant. It is unfortunate that the svnlabelincrementer was included in this build without being fully tested.
