CruiseControl Errors/Warning message on output

I get a header to the build page (and html email)  that says:

 

Errors/Warnings: (16)

 

Above my build output.  In the build log I see the following:

In tfs scorch

  </message>

 

which is just output from an ANT echo statement. These are not true
errors or warnings from the build output. How can I suppress/handle
these?
