Changing linux PATH variable from within cruisecontrol.

Hello,
I am using cruisecontorl ( 2.8.3 ) on linux. How can I set
environment variable of OS from cruisecontrol.
For different projects , I will have different PATH variable settings, so if
I write this variable in some shell script and execute it from
cruisecontrol, then PATH is not changing and my builds are failing. Can any
one help ??
