Sounds a little overwhelming :) but makes sense. I will give it a try.
Thanks.

	Even if there was a way cruise control could just write all the
email addresses to a .txt file it will do the trick.

The foolproof way to do that is to create a plugin that wraps the HTML
Email Publisher, over ride Set<String> createUserSet(final XMLLogHelper
logHelper), call super.createUserSet to get the email address, write
them to the file and then return the set.

That make sense?

	Thanks for the reply again.
	Yes that would be ideal, cruise control running my test and
emailing users. But the test server is nothing more than a web
application which accepts the email list as one of the parameters of a
request.So it has no way to communicate back to cruise control that the
test has finished except email. Even if there was a way cruise control
could just write all the email addresses to a .txt file it will do the
trick.

	Why not have CruiseControl run your automated tests and then
handle the emailing?

	That's what I was describing how to do. With what I described
the flow would be:

	1. Developers x,y,z commit code
	2. CruiseControl runs build & emails x,y,z
	3. CruiseControl runs tests & emails x,y,z

		Hi Jeff,
		Thanks a lot for your reply.
		However am a little lost. Allow me to elaborate, I want
to use the email address list as soon as the build is done to kick off
some automation tests. So in that regards the email address is to be
used for the same build. I do not intend to run another build but just
start some test as soon as the build is done. The server on which these
automated tests run can email back the people who had checkedin code
because of which cruise control ran.
		Here is the workflow I want to achieve,
		Developers X,Y,Z checking, cruise control runs an emails
X,Y,Z, kicks start automation test suite, writes email of X,Y,Z to a
file, automation suite when finishes reads this file and emails X,Y,Z
the results of the test.

		I didn't see any compound element in our config file as
well.

		Thanks again.
		Regards,
		Vishal

		Are you hoping to use the email address in the current
build or are you going to run the automated tests are part of a later
build?

		If you are going to run them as part of a later build
you could have your automated test build pull in the same sourcecontrol
changes (and thus the same users) but only run after your initial build
has run successfully but using the compound element:

http://cruisecontrol.sourceforge.net/main/configxml.html#compound

		<compound>
		  <triggers>
		    <buildstatus logdir="path/to/build/logs"/>
		  </triggers>
		  <targets>
		    < -- same element(s) as used in the build's
modification set -->
		  </targets>
		</compound>

			Hi,
			I want to get the emails of people who last
checked in. My cruisecontrol setup emails developers who last checked
in. I plan to run some automated test and email back those same
developers for which I need to get that email list. But it seems to be
hidden inside cruisecontrol. All I could find is the "skipusers" flag as
part of the email element of the config file but not the actual list.
			Thanks in advance,
