Re: dashboard shows all projects as discontinued

Hi David,

Something to try is when you start up cruise control, use the -dashboardurl command line option, so just add -dashboardurl http://myhost:8080/dashboard to the end of the command that starts up the build loop, cruisecontrol.sh.  Normally this isn't necessary, but I had to do it because I am using customized port numbers on a couple things, and I experienced the same symptom.

I've set up CC 2.8.4 (config details below) and started it. It runs as expected, and the classic view

  http://myhost:8080/cruisecontrol

shows my projects and the [Build] buttons work. Clicking on projects
shows their log pages, etc.

However, the dashboard view 

  http://myhost:8080/dashboard

is not working as expected. All projects are showing as 'discontinued'

I found

which describes this same problem and suggests checking the JMX port.
My JMX port is working (started CC with -jmxport 8092 and http://myhost:8092 is working
and I can view the config of the last-build project that claims it was discontinued

My cruisecontrol.log file shows no problems.

JVM version:    19.0-b09
OS Information: Linux 2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64
Shared log folder location:     /data/acl/var/local/cc/logs
Shared artifacts folder location:       /data/acl/var/local/cc/artifacts
Option to allow force build?    Yes

So how to I get the dashboard to work?
