Unless Cruise is doing something strange under the hood, you can override the timezone when you start Cruisecontrol up:

*         java -Duser.timezone=EST <other cruise startup>

See: http://www.techrepublic.com/article/override-a-java-applications-time-zone/5815391

huh? I just want the Date of build field to be in EST instead of in GMT.

What Operating System do you run CruiseControl on?

Hello all,

We noticed this and sent the proper flag into the POSIX based
calls that we are using to compute the duration of our builds:

  my $now = Mktime( Today_and_Now($useGmt) );
  $buildTime = $now - $startTime;

(The variable $useGMT is defined as a true value, in the perl sense
on systems whose CC instance we know are using GMT )

Look up Mktime for more info.

Take care,

Christopher

How do I change the CruiseControl "Date of build" from GMT to EST?

Thanks
