Hi Glenn,

Multiple 'ant' tags under <schedule> will not work (at least not like
you want).

 From the docs:
http://cruisecontrol.sourceforge.net/main/configxml.html#schedule

Note: Only one builder is used for a given interval where modifications
are found. Builds using the time attribute take precedence over builds
using the multiple attribute. If no matching time builds are found the
multiple builds are evaluated by the value of their multiple from high
to low. If there are multiple Builders with the same multiple only one
will build but which one is undefined.

You may want to create two <project> tags, like the example: "The
dependent build" from
http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CC/CruiseControl+Scheduling+Scenarios.

Subject: [Cruisecontrol-user] Question on Configuring Project with
	Nightly build, Rebuild on Failure
To: "[email protected]"
	<[email protected]>

Hello CruiseControllers:

I am using CruiseControl 2.8.4 and am wondering if it is possible to
configure a project to build according to these guidelines:

* Assuming the last build was successful, kick of a new build at
fixed time each night (e.g., 8am)

o Run the project regardless of whether there was source control changes

o This project is a DB validation project and changes may occur
outside of source code changes

* If the last build was not successful, kick off a new build if
there was changes to the source code tree

o We store baseline results in the SVN source tree, so if those
change, that might all we need to do to get the build running again.

I have been trying to setup a project with these characteristics, but
with no luck:

* project has requireModifications set to false

* modificationset identifies the changes that would trigger a
new build if the baseline data changes

* schedule has two ant children:

o One with time="0800"

o One with multiple="1"

I've been reviewing
http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CC/CruiseControl+Scheduling+Scenarios
but I don't find my scenario.

Is this possible with 2.8.4?

Thanks,
Glenn
