How do I handle build errors?

The official documentation for CruiseControl.net is in the form of a list o=
f XML elements and their possible sub-elements and attributes. Many softwa=
re packages have similar documentation styles. In my opinion, that's not a=
good format. I have to look through the possible choices and try to find =
how to do what I need to do. In this case, I haven't been able to find th=
e answer.

I set up a CruiseControl.net build project to build one Visual Studio 2008 =
project. There was a build error. So what do I do with it? What is the b=
asic concept? What is a publisher? Is that what I want? I think I found =
that I can send E-mail messages, but what are my other choices?

Thank you for your help.
