Re: Running two different Ports

Hi,

I am not sure what you are trying to do. But as far as
I know you can run more than 1 weblogic Server
instance (in WLS 6.1) from the same installation but
in different domains and in different ports
simultaneously. What I mean under config directory you
will have domain specific directories like mydomain,
exampleServer etc. And in the config.xml file of each
domain you can specify separate port numbers. So you
can run more than one Weblogic Server (6.1) instance
in different ports simultaneously from a single
installation and in different domains. But I don't
think you can run same domain Server in 2 different
ports simultaneously from single installation of WLS
6.1. 

You can Run 2 WLS 6.1 instance (under same domain
name) in 2 different ports if you have 2 different
installation. But as these 2 instance will be totally
unrelated they are not really in same domain. If you
are in clustered env then you have to run all the
Servers which will be clustered in same port ( in WLS
6.1 , which has changed in WLS 7.0 beta) .
